A simple power of attorney signed by the applicant or owner. No notarisation, apostille or consular legalisation is required, and a scanned copy is accepted for filing.
Around 6 to 8 months from filing to registration when there is no opposition or office action. The opposition period is 30 working days from publication in the Industrial Property Gazette.
Our professional fee is USD 150 per registration for the first class and USD 75 for each additional class. The official SIC fee for 2026 is COP 734,000 for the first class and COP 360,500 per additional class, passed through at the exchange rate of the day.
